In 2015 the team was involved in resurrecting the Ramsgate Motorcycle Sprint. This had been a popular event that ran from the mid-50’s to 1968 when legislation got in the way. Put simply it was a timed sprint along the seafront in Ramsgate where guys thrashed all types of bikes along a ¼ mile straight at the foot of the cliffs. It attracted 100’s of racers and 1000’s of spectators.
In 2015 The Sprint Revival proved an amazing draw with more than 50 classic bike entries of all categories from 1930’s JAPs, through Vincents and Ariels to 1970’s blown dragsters. With a load of other attractions such as a Wall of Death, trade and retail stands, live music, free entry paddock and great weather more than 7000 folk passed through over the weekend.
