The Heritage Summer Bike Show
Due to so many uncertainties at the start of the year we are unable to put on the Sprint 2021 as planned but still want to offer classic and custom bike enthusiasts an event to look forward to.
On August 15th at Betteshanger Park near Deal we will have a great collection of bikes on display - old and new, road and race, custom and concours. There’s going to be a chance to see and hear many of them fire up as they do parade runs on the track and time to chat with owners about how they have re-stored and re-worked their bikes.
Alongside all the gleaming machinery we expect to see club displays, custom builders, bike restorers, trade stands and new bike sales. There will also be a Bike Mart for owners to sell bikes or 2nd hand equipment. As always, good food and drinks will definitely be on site - and because its going to be another blazing summer, the ice-cream van will be in attendance! If you would like to display and/or parade your bike fill in the Exhibitor form and send it through
We’d really like to offer as many clubs and individuals as possible the chance to exhibit at the show. There is enough space for some large stands so you can spread out – tell others about what makes your marque the best and let’s see some great exhibits.
We also want to see crafts people and customisers demonstrate their skills and products. – engineering, upholstering, painting, polishing/cleaning, engraving, wheel building etc. Promote yourselves and talk with customers about how you can help with their re-builds or custom projects. And to make things even better we've now linked up with Zoom Events who will host a large food fair with 30-40 street food stalls, a bar and live music at the same time - so even more to see and do and still only £3 to get in!!
So put the date August 15th in your diary –and make your way to the premier two-wheel event in East Kent.
Betteshanger Park itself is a fantastic 250-acre space that offers kids and adults adventure areas as well as cycle tracks for road and mountain bikes. There is easy access off the main A256 Deal to Sandwich road. Parking is free with a secure motorcycle (and Blue Badge holders) area near the entrance and a quick Park and Ride scheme operating for all cars.
Our 2-day festival in Sandwich included guest speakers such as Steve Parrish, a couple of Barry Sheene’s original bikes and a full programme of live music.
One day event with 5,000 visitors, lots of exhibitors, race bike displays, gourmet foods and family activities creating a thundering rev up!
A weekend event with over 7,000 visitors, over 50 classic bike entries plus a load of other attractions including Wall of Death, trade stands and live music.
